Had the Thursday lunch special burger - excellent. Would definitely recommend this restaurant
My experience was less than pleasant when I visited this location yesterday evening (11/15) for dinner. The hostess was rude and even though we had reservations she seemed put off by having to seat us...we were early. The waitress was nice but less than attentive. She seemed too busy with other tables. The beer was warm, my salad came out with dinner and with the wrong dressing, the waitress forgot a fruit cup and the food was NOT up to Blue Moose standards. The ladies bathroom was also hideous. To top it all off, I did not get credited for my $54.41 bill on my hopps account. I nomally go to the Red Bridge location so my expectations were high. This was also a date night and my date had never eaten here. We were less than impressed. Unfortunately, we will not visit this location again. Headed back to Red Bridge.
The food is delicious⚘about 10 ppl in our party⚘Everyone enjoy there food⚘
Ordered through door dash and was very unimpressed. The portion of the Mac was so small, then the oil coming off of it made my stomach hurt. Didn’t know Mac n cheese needed that much oil, but ok. The lemon chicken pasta was nasty and not worth the money. The mushrooms were gross as well. Definitely not ordering from this place again.
Loved it..service was great. They get you in and out and the tacos are heavenly . I had 2 lunch meals the food is oh so good!!
Great neighborhood eatery and cozy especially in the winter!
Good food, friendly staff, service a tad bit slow.
The brisket soft tacos were exquisite. And the service was good. But the peach cobbler was only so-so. I didn't care for the oatmeal crust. I love pastry crust. I plan to go back.
Quintessential Johnson County upscale bar and grill. The Cuban comes highly recommended and does not disappoint. The grilled chicken was very good. So good in fact I'd recommend trying the grilled chicken entree they have on the menu. The bun wasn't great, but the chicken had a very fresh, flame grilled taste to it. Overall, we thought the sweet potato fries were better than the regular. Parking was easy, nice ambiance, good music playing that wasn't too loud. We'll be back.
I enjoyed the food and drinks so much that i cant stop going back. I got the chicken and shrimp curry it comes with rice mixed with carrots and another vegetable. It was so amazing, most to go orders make you feel you did not get your money’s worth will not the case with them! i also ordered the lemon cake it was the size of the plate so moist and rich i wanted to ask for the whole cake! thank you blue moose! place was clean and the service was great
Had a wonderful experience here. They are taking post-quarantine very seriously to make guests feel safe while dining in or taking out. I had a dirty martini and Mac and cheese and enjoyed it so so so much! Great food and service.
Blue Moose is an upscale restaurant, featuring patio dining at its best. The dining areas range from casual bar area to private areas suitable for quiet trysts to business meetings. The food is superb, and each menu selection reflects the chef's mastery.
Love their normal fare, but do not eat the buffet near the end of its Sunday timeframe, you might regret it.
This establishment never disappoints. The food is tasty and provides a different take on traditional food choices. It is easily one of the finest restaurants in the area. Their Sunday brunch is unrivalled. I eat there frequently and recommend it to others.
The food is delicious, portions are large and the prices are reasonable. The staff is friendly, professional and quick with their service. Place was clean and the atmosphere pleasant.
Went mid-afternoon on a Saturday. The interior was dimly lit, frustratingly so; we sat near the fireplace (not burning fortunately), and the smell of old soot was distractingly noticeable. Service was acceptable, but on the slow side. The filet mignon was good, though the serving quite small. Asparagus was tough. My wife's salmon was average, though the spring salad was pretty good. All in all, average at best; not a place we're likely to visit again.
Great response to a small error, they took great care of us!
Excellent food! We have never ordered something we didn't absolutely love!
Awesome place to have something when in a rush. Their customer service is efficient, pricing is convenient, awesome ambience. Will visit here again
Great food, great service, nice atmosphere. One of my occasional go to restaurants when I want good high quality food.
Have the in Dewey sausage and chicken pasta, in a gouda cream sauce. Was very delicious only disappointing part was they ran out of the limoncello cake.
Not our first time, but might be the last. Our server was a bit off, seemed like we were bothering her. When we asked what the seasonal beer taps were (as indicated on the menu) she said Boulevard Wheat. Uh what? But that is subjective and perhaps we were reading it wrong. What was objectively bad was a significant wait for food especially when the restaurant was fairly empty when we arrived. Our food was cold when it got to our table. We told our server, and her and I'm guessing a manager offered to have them remake it, but we had a toddler and were on borrowed time. That's not gonna fly. We were not going to wait another 20-30 minutes for reheated fries. And that was about the end of customer resolution process for Blue Moose. Great location, but this place just isn't what we remembered it to be. Avoid it if you can, but it is serviceable in a pinch. At least the beer was cold, hence the two stars.
Good food but had to wait a while to be acknowledged. Not busy when we went but no one seemed to care about waiting on us. But $5 Hamburger was good and the mini dessert plate was fabulous Pick 3 mini dessert for $4.99 Crème brûlée was to die for. Lemon dessert and cobbler was delicious also
Soup of the day was amazeballs. I think it was called cheddar ale. Paired with half a turkey club sandwich it was perfect. It was my first time here and I'll most def be back.
This was our first trip to Blue Moose since the Covid invasion. They have done a great job of making the environment safe. Oh, by the way the food was good too. And the service was great. It felt good to be semi-normal for a bit.
A little disappointed. We went for Sunday brunch with a group of about 15. The food was ok. Not much on the buffet and no one came to take the orders for omelets. I had coffee and it was never refilled even after I asked. I would have been happy to get it myself but didn't see any coffee near the buffet We were there around an hour and a half and the server only checked on us once and didn't come back after asking for coffee. I think we just picked a bad day to be there.
Probably the best and mostCost effective brunch in town.
A very nice place that is romantic and sophisticated. Great for a date with the loved one, a family dinner, or even an event as they have a separate space for that.
Went during happy hour and got a booth right away. The fish and chips was very delicious.
We rode six miles, one way to get there and were not disappointed. The dining room is open but we opted to sit outside on their extended patio to be near the bicycles. The server was excellent. The hummus plate was huge and I'd ride the twelve miles again to eat the veggie burger.
Super disappointing order delivered to me. Build your own Mac and Cheese was loaded with raw garlic to the point it was unedible. Loaded baked potato they were out of became tasteless, oily 'mashed potatoes.' DoorDash offered a 2.18 refund. I've probably ordered from this location 4-5 times and this is the worst its been. Wish someone would address properly.
Had a great time! Phenomenal owner and customer service!
Good selection from a changing menu and attentive service. Reliable quality.
Blue Moose has great food. Love the patio during nice weather great place to grab a beer with friends
This place used to be pretty decent. Been going down hill for a while. Last 4-5 trips have been less than pleasant.
Stopped in for a quick dinner. My burger was delicious and my fries were fresh and hot.
Good food, good prices and a very nice atmosphere.
Always busy great neighborhood place, great food and service.
The service was okay, but could not get the prime rib right on 2 separate tries and on the 3rd try, the salmon was very undercooked....the manager wanted us to believe that the prime rib was cooked appropriately, when it was obvious that it wasn't even close to being cooked correctly.
Good lunch on Thursday. Hamburger is on all day $5 special. Excellent fries are two dollars. Insist on Bonnie to be your server.
My first visit to Blue Moose. I was very pleased and full. From the moment we entered we had excellent service. We were greeted immediately and lead to an ideal table. Our waitress was attentive, answered all of our questions, made what proved be great suggestions. The food was excellent, the service was outstanding and the prices were reasonable. We are going back for the Sunday Brunch and taking friends!!!
Good food good servers. Till. Good guy! Had a very haughty couple sit down noisily next to us. Had to really raise my voice to let them know how disturbing they were...almost funny when they lowered the "bar voices..." they brought in...
GREAT PLACE to meet FRIENDS!!Good friendly service, and great food too! They have a cool room that they saved for us so a bunch of us could meet up almost by ourselves... with a nice view outside too!
Great food. Great service. Cool atmosphere.
Great food and great beer! Cmprices and service are great too
We had a good sized group for lunch and were treated like royalty! Food was yummy and service awesome!
We went today for Easter brunch. Lots of selections. Some weren’t as hot as they could’ve been or replaced as quickly. I had a taste of the last bit of Mac n cheese. It was very greasy. The ham and mashed potatoes were good though As was the hummus. I’m very disappointed. My daughter wanted French toast which is offered as a special. Due to her cinnamon allergy she wasn’t able to have any. They will make customs make omelets but won’t whip a couple of eggs in milk and dip the bread in the mixture ??? Also the desert table was too high for the kids so they were using their hands to take the cookies. Yuck!!!
Super upset with this local. Men's restroom did not have a toilet. Waited on the "Family" room. An employee came out and had not flushed. I asked, "Really?!" "What?" "Are you not going to flush?" "My bad." Started to walk away...I "hrmmed" and he walked in and flushed then walked into the kitchen. I stood there...a "manager" walked up and asked what was wrong. I told him what happened. "I'll talk to him." This was horrible on so many levels!Service was okay on the food and drink side...had to wait extra long for a drink (I was over looked twice.)
This is our favorite spot in the neighborhood to take family out for brunch on Sunday after Church. Good food in a homey atmosphere; kids friendly menu with ice cream included.Plenty parking, good staff.
Nice cozy atmosphere. Our server was great. The menu was a little to "healthy " for me but I found fish and chips. The fish was spectacular but the "chips" were soggy french fries.
